GA4 & GTM Audit Perth
I'm Brad Farleigh, a Perth developer who audits and fixes GA4 and Google Tag Manager setups. Every job starts with a diagnostic: I trace your tracking end to end, find what's broken and quote the repair before any work starts.
Email hello@bradfarleigh.com or use the live chat. I don't take phone calls, so everything is in writing from the start.
Is your tracking actually working?
- GA4 showing data that doesn't match reality?
- Conversions not tracking properly in Google Ads?
- GTM container bloated with old tags nobody understands?
- Privacy and consent mode not set up correctly?
- No idea if your Meta Pixel is firing accurately?
Bad tracking means bad decisions. If your analytics are wrong, every marketing dollar you spend is guided by fiction. I've spent 17+ years working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and I audit the setup, find the problems and fix them.
What you get
GA4 audit
A full review of your Google Analytics 4 setup. I check your data streams, event tracking, conversion configuration, filters, audience definitions and cross-domain tracking. You get a clear report of what's working, what's broken and what to fix first.
GTM audit
Your Google Tag Manager container reviewed top to bottom. Tags, triggers, variables, data layer implementation, consent mode configuration and container load performance. I identify redundant tags, broken triggers and security risks.
Conversion tracking validation
End-to-end testing of your conversion tracking across GA4, Google Ads, Meta CAPI, TikTok and any other platforms. I verify that what your ad platforms report matches what actually happened on your site.
Privacy and consent mode
Review and implementation of Google Consent Mode v2, cookie consent platform configuration and privacy compliance. You collect data legally and don't lose attribution unnecessarily.
What does it cost?
Every job starts with the diagnostic. Everything after that is a fixed quote.
The diagnostic is a focused review of your tracking, usually within 3 business days. A full audit with hands-on fixes is a fixed quote after that.
The price is in dollars, not hours, and no GST is added. Work starts on a deposit. There's more on how a job runs on Working With Me.
Why work with me
- 17+ years with web analytics, from Universal Analytics through to GA4.
- CTO-level view. I understand how tracking fits into the wider business, not just the technical implementation.
- I built tools for this. I've created automated GTM audit tools and URL mapping systems used in production, including the free GTM Auditor.
- Diagnostic first, then a clear, fixed quote.
- Remote. No travel time, no unnecessary meetings.
Ready to fix your tracking?
Email hello@bradfarleigh.com or use the live chat, and tell me which numbers disagree with which. I'll book in the diagnostic.
FAQ
How much does a GA4 and GTM audit cost?
It starts with a paid diagnostic review, usually delivered within 3 business days. A full audit with hands-on fixes is quoted before work begins. It's a fixed price in dollars, not hours, and no GST is added.
What does a GA4 audit include?
A full review of your GA4 setup: data streams, event tracking, conversion configuration, filters, audiences and cross-domain tracking, plus a report of what's broken and what to fix first.
What does a GTM audit cover?
Your Google Tag Manager container, top to bottom: tags, triggers, variables, the data layer, consent mode configuration and container load performance. I look for redundant tags, broken triggers and security risks.
Why does my GA4 data not match reality?
Usually broken or duplicated tags, misconfigured conversions, or consent mode blocking collection. An audit traces each event end to end to find where the numbers diverge.
Which ad platforms do you check conversion tracking for?
GA4, Google Ads, Meta with the Conversions API, TikTok, and any other platform on the site. I check that what each platform reports matches what actually happened on your site.
Do you set up Google Consent Mode v2?
Yes. I review and implement Consent Mode v2 and your cookie consent platform's configuration, so you collect data legally without losing attribution you don't need to lose.
What do you need from me to start?
Access to GA4, Google Tag Manager and any ad accounts involved, plus a note of which numbers disagree with which. Logins come through a password manager, never by email or chat.
Do you run Google Ads campaigns as well?
No. I set up and validate the conversion tracking your campaigns rely on.
Is there a free way to check my GTM container first?
Yes. I built GTM Auditor, a free tool at gtm-auditor.bradfarleigh.com that analyses a Google Tag Manager container. It's a quick first look. The diagnostic goes further and traces your events end to end.
